Chestnut flour is a nutritious and delicious gluten-free flour that we use to make cookies, biscuits, brownies, polenta, porridge, necci, and many other delicious recipes. Flour is available in two grinds — coarse and fine. Fine flour is finely milled and a great versatile flour for all kinds of baked goods, bread, and pasta. Coarse flour is an unsifted “home style” flour that is more coarsely milled and offers a texture more like a stoneground corn meal. We love using coarse flour in many baked goods and also for polenta, grits, or porridge.
